Room was clean but a little dated and the shower grout needed mould attended to! For the cost of the room it really needs a bathroom reno. No recycling bins provided (odd on the edge of a wilderness conservation are). Room ‘looked’ on the car park so as opposed to a garden with cars coming and going a lot.

I only stayed for one night when travelling around Tasmania. The room was very large, clean with a useful kitchenette. Shower room very big and clean, plenty of towels Courtesy breakfast included cereal, yogurts, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Close to the sea front and easy walking to the penguins at dusk. Bistro downstairs recommended

The room was very comfortable, with a great view of the river. What lets this hotel down is parking. Self parking is apparently about 100m away from the hotel (so I was told by reception), so I chose the valet parking option, which is more expensive. It is also a little inconvenient as each time ...

The Beachway although a little further out of town proved to be a great base to explore Devonport. The manager was friendly and accommodating. We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was delicious and the service great.
